What TeachNest collects
When you send an enquiry, we store your name, email, selected interest and message so the platform or the academy you contacted can respond. Account features use your verified email and name to identify you. Academy features store course, enrolment, progress, attendance, assignment, booking and payment records needed to provide the service.
Where your information goes
TeachNest is hosted through ChatGPT Sites. Academy records and uploaded resources use the hosting platform’s storage. Independent account authentication is provided by Supabase when activated. Payment and video services are reached through the links configured by each educator; those services apply their own terms and privacy policies.
Access and public content
Published course descriptions, prices and lesson outlines are public. Full lessons and uploaded resources are restricted by enrolment. Teachers can access the records of their own academy. The interactive workspace preview uses example information.
Cookies
When accounts are activated, essential session cookies are used to keep you signed in. Enquiry submissions use a short-lived hashed network identifier to limit automated submissions. No advertising or marketing tracking has been added to this version.
Your requests
Use the enquiry form on the homepage to request access to, correction of or deletion of your platform information. For records managed by a particular academy, contact that academy through its public page. Requests must be verified before private information is disclosed or changed.
Retention
Academy records remain available while needed to provide the academy’s services. Enquiries remain available for follow-up until removed by the operator. Short-lived enquiry rate-limit records are periodically deleted. Retention requirements for an academy’s own records are determined by its operator.
